The Family Behind the Wedge
Wobble Wedge is owned and operated by Kevin and Robin Miller, who took over the company from the original inventors' family and continue the legacy of American-made engineering with the best materials and design.
Under Kevin and Robin, Wobble Wedge moved its home base from Boulder to Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and switched its packaging to recyclable cardboard cartons. Every Wobble Wedge is still engineered, tooled, molded, printed and packed in the USA, and every order is handled with the same care, from the smallest order to the largest.

Where It All Started
Wobble Wedges were invented in 1985 by the original founding family, inspired by the sloping floors of their 115-year-old Victorian home in Boulder, where everything from the furniture to the toilet wobbled. After years of leveling things with pennies, wooden chips and washers, they designed the perfect shim for homeowners, carved first in clay, then apple wood, then plastic. It turned out to be the perfect shim for restaurants, plumbers, contractors and aerospace tool rooms, too.

For decades, Wobble Wedges have earned the trust of restaurants, food service distributors, hospitality providers, plumbing contractors, cabinet and closet installers, woodworkers, furniture makers and industrial manufacturers, all relying on their quality and functionality for shimming jobs big and small.

Kevin and Robin Miller took over the company and moved the business to Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Today they lead Wobble Wedge with the same focus on American-made engineering, the best materials and smart design that has made Wobble Wedges a trusted name since 1985.
Wobble Wedges Are No Ordinary Shims
Wobble Wedges are an interlocking, modular system of tapered shims so well made and so adaptable that anyone can use them, from a DIYer to a contractor to an industrial user. Even our website design and development takes place 100% in the USA. We've also moved away from plastic packaging: our cartons are made from recyclable cardboard, with just a thin film window so you can see the wedges inside.
